Tattoo Drawings – Ensure you get what you want.
Tattoos Drawings have been around for centuries and are a way of turning your own body into a work of art. In recent years tattoos have kind of enjoyed a renaissance and it seems nearly everyone is getting inked. This can be attributed to many factors with one of the biggest being the increase of celebrities and prominent individuals openly displaying their artwork. Additionally, society has experienced a shift to a more liberal stance on both tattoos and piercings.
If you are considering getting a tattoo you need to be aware of some important details before sitting in the chair. First and foremost is tattoos are permanent you will have to either live with them or pay a hefty price to have them removed. You need to take the time to do the research and really make up your mind that this is for you. You also need to be aware that its going to hurt getting a tattoo. Its not on the level of child birth or a compound fracture but its no walk in the park either. Needles are going into your skin and injecting you with ink and this is happening thousands of times. Don’t get me wrong its obviously bearable because everyone is getting them. If it was really unbearable the popularity would be that of spring break in Antarctica.
Another factor to consider is the tattoo drawings themselves. This is something that you are going to have to look at for the rest of your life or until you have it removed. So take your time and make sure you find the right tattoo design for you. Fortunately you have lots of resources at your disposal so finding the right design is no longer a daunting task. In fact you can find several designs you like and work with your artist to create a tattoo using the elements from those to come up with a truly unique tattoo representative of you and your personality.
I mention working with an artist and I must stress that finding the right artist is also a very important task when deciding to get a tattoo. There is no point taking the time to find the perfect tattoo drawing only to have it ruined by a horrible tattoo artist and trust me there are bad tattoo artists. Go to your local tattoo shops and speak with the artists, have them show you their portfolio. See if they would be willing to come up with a conceptual drawing to see if their vision matches yours. If you do your homework you will find the right tattoo artist and walk out with a great tattoo.
Finally, I want to talk about care. Every good tattoo shop will provide you with literature on how to care for your tattoo both while its healing and over time. They also provide you with ointment or other aides to help the body and art heel. Listen to them or else your tattoo will not end up being what you had envisioned. Its really simple care and not very hard to do it just takes discipline and patience.
If you follow all of these steps I am sure you will come out with a great tattoo that truly represents you and your personality. Tattoo Drawings
Skull Tattoo Designs
Skull Tattoo Designs are a mainstay in the tattoo world. They conjure up images of pirates and the Jolly Roger flag. You might think of a leather clad Harley Davidson motorcycle rider who looks like he wants to rip your guts out. When in reality he is probably a pediatrician by day!
As you can see skull tattoo designs are usually for the tough guy or macho man, but there are cases where they aren’t. There is a famous skeleton who dons a top hat that any Grateful Dead fan would recognize. Actually there is another famous Grateful Dead skeleton who has a hair made of red roses. You see many a Grateful Dead fan with just these tattoo drawings. So having a skull or skeleton doesn’t always have to be for the macho.
Even famous children books have skulls prominent in them. The one that most comes to mind is Harry Potter. The evil characters belong to what is called the Death Eaters. Their symbol is a skull with a snake coming out of the mouth. The fact is humans have a natural fascination with the skull. They associate it with death and evil. But you can also take something that is inherintly evil and twist it around to make it symbolize whatever you want.
If a skull best suits your personality or message then by all means have at it! Just make sure you take your time and find the best tattoo artist you can. A great tattoo is easily ruined by a shotty tattoo artist. Read here for some tips on getting the best tattoo possible.
Armband Tattoo Drawings
Armband tattoo drawings are one of the most popular tattoos to date. There are many variations of armband tattoos that you can go with and include barbwire, Celtic designs, Chinese lettering, lightning, and pretty much anything your imagination can come up with.
The biggest question that is raised when considering an armband tattoo is how much is it going to cost? Well that is a very subjective question because it depends on the complexity, color, and experience of your tattoo artist. The best advise I have been given is to do your homework. Come up with your design and then shop around several tattoo shops. Once you have found an artist you like then discuss price with them. But you should expect to spend anywhere from $100 to well over $300 for your general armband tattoo.
Another favorite question I have seen people ask is how much will an armband tattoo hurt. The best answer I can give is that the outer arm won’t hurt as much as the inner arm. Several others have agreed on this and one person suggested that you pinch the outside of your arm and pinch the inside of your arm. See how much different it hurts. The inner arm is definitely more sensitive so expect that half of the tattoo to hurt more. When getting any tattoo drawing its very subjective in terms of pain. The pain threshold differs greatly with each individual. But go into the procedure understanding that as with every tattoo there will be some pain.
Some people have asked that if it matters what arm you get your armband tattoo drawing on. They want to know if it has any significance. Sometimes gay men will display an earring on their right ear or place other things in certain locations to denote their sexuality. Well this isn’t the case with tattoos. You can get your armband tattoo on either side and not send an unwarranted message.
Do your research and find some ideas to build off and make your own. With a little inspiration and creativity you will find the design for you. Tattoo Drawings
Small Tattoos – Why they can be a good choice
If you are thinking about a getting a tattoo and are trying to find the best tattoo drawings but can’t figure out what type or size to get you might consider getting a small tattoo.
Small tattoos are great for a first time tattoo because it can be concealed if you aren’t quite ready to show the world or want to maintain a clean look in your professional life. It will also take less time to get and reduce the amount of pain. After you get this first tattoo then you can decide to either add more or even add onto the new tattoo.
Another reason to consider starting with a small tattoo is that you can pretty much locate it anywhere on your body. Some of the favorite locations are on the wrist, ankle, lower back, and kneck. But when you decide to go with a small tattoo you really have an unlimited amount of options for location.
Don’t think that the price for a tattoo will be less if you go smaller. The price is dependent on many things including color, location, and complexity. Additionally tattoo artists don’t always charge by the hour and instead charge by the project. If you are leaning towards a small tattoo because of the cost you may be disappointed.
So whether you are getting a giant sleeve tattoo or a tiny butterfly tattoo make sure to do your homework and take your time. A tattoo is forever, make sure you get the one you want. Tattoo Drawings
Tattoo Drawings – Welcome
Welcome to Tattoo Drawings a blog about Tattoos. Tattoos are essentially drawings on you body but they are also so much more. Tattoos are an expression of yourself and an art form.
In the past Tattoos used to be something only certain individuals got. The common stereotypes include Bikers, Sailors, Punk Rockers, Outcasts, and even what society deemed freaks. Conversely these groups looked at the clean cut “squares” as prudes who only follow the status quo of society.
But in the past few decades things have changed. Tattoos have started to show up on every type of person. Even Grandma’s and Grandpa’s have them. Heck my grandparents took me to get my first tattoo. Celebrities have them are quick to flaunt them. If you watch any type of sporting event you will be hard pressed to NOT find a tattoo. This art has taken off and become main stream. Some may balk at this, especially the purists, but without a doubt tattoos are an everyday thing.
This blog recognizes that and we plan to introduce you to the newest trends, the newest technology, and the best designs. A clearinghouse for all things tattoos. We encourage user participation so please feel free to comment and discuss.
