Blackwork Sitting Cat with Sun Motif

This Blackwork tattoo design features a sitting cat in profile, positioned to the left of a stylized sun. The cat is rendered as a solid black silhouette, with fine white lines defining its fur texture, whiskers, and the inner details of its ears and eyes. Its tail curves gracefully around its paws, completing the seated pose. The sun, positioned behind and slightly above the cat, is depicted as a circular disk with alternating straight and wavy rays emanating outwards. The overall composition is arranged along a rising diagonal, creating a sense of upward movement. The use of negative space is prominent, with the stark white background emphasizing the bold black linework and solid fills of the motifs. The design intentionally avoids gradients, relying on clean outlines and solid black areas to create contrast and depth, adhering to the Blackwork style's emphasis on graphic impact and clarity.
